PUBLIC NOTICE

North Country Council, as the Lead Agency for Carroll County Regional Coordinating Council (CCRCC) will be submitting an application for approximately $25,106 of FTA Section 5310 Formula Funding.  The purpose of this funding is to support coordinated transportation services in Carroll County.  This funding will be used to expand transportation services for the elderly and disabled by purchasing services from one of the transportation providers currently accessing the 5310 Purchase of Services funds; Tri-County CAP, the Gibson Center for Senior Services, or Carroll County RSVP.  It is anticipated those providers will again provide eligible service, but any other interested transportation providers in Carroll County should contact Mary Poesse no later than April 18th, 2014 to inquire about funding eligibility.

The Mount Washington Valley Economic Council, as the Lead Agency for Carroll County Regional Coordinating Council (CCRCC) will be submitting an application for approximately $58,715 of FTA Section 5310 Purchase of Service funding.  The purpose of this funding is to expand transportation services for the elderly and disabled in Carroll County.  Transportation providers currently accessing these funds are Tri-County CAP, the Gibson Center for Senior Services, and Carroll County RSVP.  It is anticipated those providers will again provide eligible service, but any other interested transportation providers that provide transportation for the elderly and disabled should in Carroll County contact Mary Poesse no later than April 9th, 2014 to inquire about funding eligibility.

CCRCC Mission Statement


The mission of the Carroll County Regional Coordination Council (CCRCC) is to develop a diverse system of transportation options in the Carroll County Region.  The objectives are:

· Transportation accessible to all; inviting to all ages and all walks of life;

· Collaboration among human service agencies, municipalities, businesses, and citizens;

· Expanded public transportation services and options, including volunteers, carpooling, taxi services, and rail, bicycle and pedestrian paths;

· Transportation within the counties and connections with other regions.
